2023 Mobility Reboot Video Series

Hello! I've made good on my promise to create an on-demand video course for improving mobility! And, for SecondFifty newsletter subscribers it's completely free. My New Year thank you for being part of the community. I designed this program to help you access more freedom of movement - in the gym, on the golf course, on a run, or just throughout your day. Whether you’re new to exercise or a committed gym rat, you will feel the difference with just one video. Do the entire series, and you're well on your way to feeling 10 years younger. 

How do I get to the videos? You will need a passcode to access the video series. See below for the link and passcode.

Who is the class for? Anybody who wants to move better. The stretches are equally effective for active athletes and those new to exercise and movement. In fact, the more active you are, the more you need it! This an introduction to long-hold, passive stretching suitable for all levels of otherwise healthy adults who want to learn simple, science-based techniques for improving mobility and flexibility. Progressions and regressions of each stretch will be clearly shown.**

What do I need to participate? Not much! A yoga mat, a small couch cushion, a few yoga blocks and a yoga strap would be helpful but are not required. If you don’t have yoga blocks, grab two hardback books. And, if you have a small stool or low chair, that might prove helpful as well.

This free on demand video series consists of seven individual classes of 15 - 20 minutes each. More than two hours of guided instruction. We will practice essential stretches for hamstrings, hips, shoulders, and spine. Once you learn these mobilizations, and with 15 minutes a day of consistent practice, you can begin to regain the movement patterns you were born with.This introductory series is just the beginning. **Before you begin: If you have specific medical conditions or physical injuries or limitations (for example: hip replacement, degenerative joint issues or other injuries) you should check with your doctor before participating. If you are unable to get down on the floor and get up again, this course may not be right for you. If you have other medical limitations that would make it unwise for you to participate in stretching, you should check with your doctor before proceeding.
