Free Zoom Workout This Saturday

Hello, and Happy New Year!
A short note to alert you to a simple, straightforward, no-frills 30-minute body-weight workout that a trainer friend of mine hosts every Saturday at 10:00 am eastern time. It's free, it's friendly, and you can tailor it to your level of fitness. If your super-fit, think of it as a warmup or a tune-up. If you are just starting out, modify it and do what you can. If you're really scared and overwhelmed by the idea of working out, just tune in and watch it! You have to start somewhere… Nobody can see or hear you unless you turn on your camera and microphone.
Joe Barlia is the trainer's name, and his business is called Project Athlete. He trains adults and kids, mostly remotely now. I know Joe from the gym I belong to. He started these free Saturday remote Zoom workouts during the pandemic. Lori and I are regulars, and we really enjoy them. I don't know how long Joe will keep it up, but more attendance will undoubtedly encourage him to keep going!
There is no catch here, no email sign up, no mailing list or marketing hype— just a solid informal workout by an excellent trainer. If you enjoy this workout and you want to continue receiving the Saturday Zoom invites, you can send Joe an email to get on the list. You can also contact him to do remote training if you like.
I have no financial incentive in any of this, just passing the info along as a service to my readers.
Approaching the end of January, our plans for the new year become just a little less shiny as aspiration meets reality…These 30 minutes will give you a nice reminder of how good it feels to start the weekend with movement!

If you have dumbbells, get them out. If you don't, no problem. They are not required. Joe starts right on time, so log on a few minutes early...
